How Much "Time & Money" Does It Cost You To Adjust Or Replace A Manhole Casting?
Spray Com Utilities Inc utilizes equipment that will cut a circle around the manhole allowing easy separation from the road. The construction period is substantially shortened. The cutter can be used to directly cut asphalt and rocks, avoiding the trouble of removing such structures (steel bar, rock, etc.) in advance during the construction process.
We can make the cut and leave the casting in place. Your workmen can easily remove the casting at a later time when they are ready to replace with new.
No more jack hammering and ragged cuts. Once the manhole casting has been lifted, all that isrequired is the easy insertion of a concrete ring or any other adjusting material, lowering the manhole casting back into place and a little sweeping of excess dirt (or any other suitable backfill material) to fill in the cut out area. With that, your manhole is up to grade and the road surface is immediately safe enough to drive over. In most cases, no barricades will be required. Cutting can be done at any road surface temperature.
